This weekend the 70th edition of the 12 Hours of Sebring gets underway at the Sebring International Raceway in Florida. Regarded as a warm-up to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 12 Hours of Sebring has itself grown into an unmissable world-class motorsport event. The 12H of Sebring is the second round of the Weathertech Sportscar Championship. During the same weekend, the World Endurance Championship runs its 1000 Miles of Sebring, bringing the spirit of prototype endurance Le Mans-style racing to the USA.

A legendary warm-up to the 24 Hours of Le Mans
The legendary 12-hour endurance race has had its fair share of famous winners over the years, with Tom Kristensen taking home six wins, Allan McNish four and Mario Andretti three. In terms of manufacturer victories, Porsche has scored 18 wins, Ferrari 12 and Audi 11.
A brutal test of a car’s reliability
Over time, the course has got shorter, and now takes place over a 3.74-mile (6.02km) lap. With its bumpy surface and hot, humid Floridian weather, Sebring is a brutal test of a car’s reliability.
12 Teams and 14 cars, proudly powered by Motul
For several years, Motul has been supporting teams and helping drive them to victory with Motul 300V, the lubricant that has evolved from more than 50 years of motorsport innovation and pedigree and provides the optimum balance between performance and reliability. This year, Motul is supporting 12 teams and 14 cars across four categories. In the LMP2 category, Motul is supporting the entire Gibson-powered Oreca chassis grid. These are the teams Motul is supporting at this year’s 12 Hours of Sebring.
