http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xomSl9l3-Eo&list=PLCF102A97E1D5FA7F&index=1The least that can be said is that this news created a stir on the Internet and especially in the Nissan – Nismo community. In effect, Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man, was recently appointed 'Director of Excitement' of the Japanese automaker. In this context, a first event took place in October at the Nissan Grandrive test circuit at Yokosuka: a first track experience for Usain, in a Nissan GT-R bearing Motul's colours. He sat beside Michael Krumm, driver of team Nismo Motul Autech, before testing himself at the wheel. 'It was a truly unique experience,' commented the Olympic champion. 'I like speed and like driving fast. So being in the GT-R, in perfect safety, and driving as fast as I wanted, was an incredible experience.'
The second event was the auctioning at the beginning of December of a gold colour Nissan GT-R, gold being the sprinter's favourite precious metal, with the proceeds going to his foundation. The foundation helps create opportunities for the children of Jamaica (with the ambition of going beyond these borders), thanks to educational programmes. The car — the latest version with its 550 hp biturbo engine — helped collect more than 140,000 €. Let's leave the final word to Usain Bolt: 'My motto is that the future belongs to children'
