From 2022 onwards Motul will be added to HONDA UK’s range of lubricants and motorcycle care range in their dealerships throughout the UK capitalizing on HUK’s racing activities along the way. Secured for 3 years this allows our brand to showcase itself at UK short circuits & road racing events at the highest level which outlines our shared “Race to Road” philosophy.With our brand on the flanks of some of HONDA’s finest racing steeds, we anticipate dealers to be inundated by demand for MOTUL as the race season progresses and the IOM TT returns.
Fielded by an unprecedented 4 ‘factory’ riders in BSB, with reigning Superstock 1000 champion Tom Neaves alongside established BSB race winner Glenn Irwin and two Japanese contingents, Takumi Takahashi & Ryo Mizuno supported by HRC.
Irwin & long term Motul brand ambassador (& 23 times IOM TT winner) John Mcguiness will race on the roads. Glenn is no stranger to road racing having won at the MACAU GP & with 4 x NW200 Superbike race wins in recent years.
2022 is an eventful year for HONDA - 20th year in BSB, 70thyear at the IOM TT and the CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP’s 30th birthday so a great year for MOTUL to join.
John McGuiness’s turns 50 this year & 2022 is his 100th start at the IOM TT.
With our very own 300V (the only oil officially accredited by HRC for use with their FIREBLADE Race kits) celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2021, this season is a very exciting prospect to share with HONDA.
