2020 was a difficult year for motorsport. But the pandemic will never dull our passion for racing. These are the six events we can’t wait to see next year.
Our six must-visit motorsport events of 2021

For 2021, I’m really looking forward to our VIP journey experience. Through this we will try to share our passion with our customers, who will be able to ride with us and our OEMs on Sherco, MV Agusta, Ural or Horex motorcycles.
Raf Hectors, Editorial Director, Motul Media Crew
I’m most looking forward to the Dakar Rally, which starts on 3rd of January. As Motul took over the historic class ‘Malle Moto’ and baptized it ‘Original by Motul’ a few years ago, it blew new life into the Dakar. The rally moved back to its ‘sandroots’, riding in the deserts and rocky environment of Saudi Arabia. For the press release of the ‘Original by Motul’ class, I personally interviewed all 35 participants. This class is for motorcycle riders only and doesn’t allow any external assistance, so it’s back to the adventurous roots of the original rally in the late seventies and early eighties.
Egor Parienko, Head of Business, PCMO
The 24 Hours of Le Mans would be my default option. It’s the event I’d most want to come back to, and hopefully we will, in all its glory with the parade, the race and our team of colleagues and partners in the Village and our Motul lounge closely following the dramatic race. Of the events I haven’t yet seen, I’d want to experience one of the drift showdowns - whether it’s RDS in Russia, Formula Drift in the USA or Driftmasters GP in Europe. It’s such a growing and dynamic sport, where Motul is represented by some of the world’s best athletes. It is also a chance to see a different crowd, get to know them better and ultimately to understand how Motul can make a difference for them, especially with the upcoming new 300V.
Fabrizio Dottavi, Group Powersports Communication Manager
Either for a personal passion or professional dedication, I can't wait to start working on Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) in Italy. Finally bringing to the large and passionate community of Motul an event of international importance but strongly rooted in a healthy and sincere local passion. Made of technical, physical preparation, competitive spirit but also proximity and informality, the Enduro is part of Motul's powersport strategy started in 2020 and continues the prestigious partnership with the Sherco brand. We’ll see Motul’s ambassador program of riders like Emma Bristow and Mario Roman, who are keeping the target of bringing the story of the excellence of Motul’s products to the super-active Enduro community.
Camilo Polimeni, Group Motorsports Sponsorship Manager
Goodwood Revival was a blast in 2019. Unfortunately, given the current sanitary conditions, the event was not held in 2020, but it’s a high point for 2021. This one-of-a-kind event transports you back in time, and the aura around it is something that can’t be replicated. It actually feels as if you were in the 1950s when you’re there, up to a point that being the petrolhead that I am, it’s hard to admit that you might even forget for a second that the event actually revolves around motorsports!
Romain Grabowski, Head of Brand
For me, it would be the Le Mans Classic because it was cancelled in 2020. It’s also one of the best classic car racing events worldwide, and Le Mans (considered as our second Motul HQ!) is missing us a lot. Also, I will race at this event for the first time. I can’t wait to be in the Hunaudieres onboard a DB Panhard from the 1950s!
