BRABUS, supercar manufacturer and the world's largest automotive tuner, now recommends MOTUL lubricants. And so at the start of 2012, one of the world's oldest lubricant brands began global technology partnership with BRABUS. The partnership entails integrating MOTUL in all global BRABUS sales networks. The partners see it as a major advantage that both companies are represented today at all key strategic locations and are currently focusing on the rapidly growing BRIC states (Brazil, Russia, India, China) in addition to the already established markets.
Martin Klein, Managing Director of MOTUL Deutschland GmbH: "Thanks to their outstanding product quality and upmarket image, both BRABUS and MOTUL are premium manufacturers. As SME companies, we act on equal terms. We also share numerous other corporate characteristics. MOTUL and BRABUS are dedicated to innovative first-rate performance and have a global presence, while pursuing activities on the marine and vintage sector in addition to their core business. It is therefore our great pleasure to supply BRABUS with our high-performance lubricants and to provide the company with our support and lubricant know-how as technology partner in the development of new generations of engines. Furthermore, in future the performance capability of MOTUL lubricants will be demonstrated in extensive test runs on what count among the most advanced engine test stands in the whole of Europe. I see the new technology partnership as offering both sides a further enhancement of the brands and image on the premium segment."
Prof. h. c. Bodo Buschmann, the founder and proprietor of BRABUS also envisages great chances in this cooperation between premium partners: "MOTUL and BRABUS both serve the premium segment which entails great responsibility towards their customers. Quality and reliability take top priority. This gives us the obligation to advocate first-rate products. It was therefore easy for my team and me to opt for MOTUL as technology partner. After all, lubricants play a particularly important role especially for our high-performance engines of 588 kW/800 hp with torques of 1,420 Nm. We want to pursue our development activities on the highest possible level, which is exactly what a technology partnership with MOTUL facilitates. The result is a win-win situation which is sure to produce innovative solutions. We are pleased to have such a strong partner as MOTUL at our side, and look forward to working together with them in future."
