MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-12
Synthetic "Fuel Economy" Engine Oil formulated with base oils derived from renewable resources, specifically designed for hybrid-electric vehicles (H.E.V.) and plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles (P.H.E.V.) equipped with the latest gasoline engines, whether turbocharged or not, with direct or port fuel injection, and intended for use with an engine oil of SAE 0W-12 viscosity with very low friction and extremely low HTHS viscosity (≥ 2.0 mPa*s). MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-12 was specifically developed to meet the technical requirements of gasoline hybrid vehicles, such as oil dilution from unburned fuel, water emulsification, high frequency of stop/start events, and lower oil temperatures. This cutting-edge formulation is part of a completely new, sustainable concept from Motul and consists of 25% "Organic Base," a new base oil technology made 100% from renewable synthetic base oils derived from renewable resources. Additionally, the small containers are made from 50% recycled and 100% recyclable materials. The Organic Base uses renewable materials, thus limiting environmental impact. During production, CO2 emissions are reduced by 25%. MOTUL NGEN is the overarching name for Motul’s particularly sustainable product lines, which use various technologies in formulations and packaging to reduce the CO2 footprint and resource consumption. This special formulation can also be used for modern gasoline engines where the manufacturer specifies an engine oil of SAE 0W-12 viscosity. MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-12 is also suitable for battery-electric vehicles (B.E.V.) equipped with a gasoline engine used as a range extender. Compatible with catalytic converters and particulate filters. This engine oil may not be suitable for use in some engines. In case of doubt, please consult the owner's manual.
