Motul making the wheels go around in WorldSBK 2020
11.02.2020
The Motul FIM Superbike World Championship 2020 (WorldSBK) is just a month away and excitement and anticipation are mounting for the championship which promises, as always, to be action-packed, high octane and international…with Motul in the heart of the action on and off track.
Passion and commitment from start to finish
Now in its fifth year of title sponsorship, Motul’s links with WorldSBK are stronger than ever. With 13 rounds, 11 countries, 4 continents and one of the strongest fields in history, there’s a huge amount for Motul’s VIP guests to look forward to and experience up close, and for millions of bike fans across the globe to follow through the year. The sheer number of customers who choose to come to races with Motul proves just how passionate they are about the two-wheeled world, demonstrating clearly the “Win on Sunday, sell on Monday” saying. Motul clearly makes its involvement work for customers, dealers, partners and the championship in equal measure!
Motul in action
WorldSBK is the ideal environment for both B2C and B2B business as it shows the products in action and often under the toughest of conditions.
Guests and fans know only too well how important these products are for performance, reliability and efficiency, plus what better place to develop new technology than by using the living test bench of the track? Key to this is the Factory Line range which includes the quality and high-performing 300V based on Ester® Core technology, plus the MC CARE line’s comprehensive range of care and maintenance products which revolutionize the way you care for your bike, your equipment and the whole way you ride.
Flying the flag around the world
As far as the all-important competition partnerships are concerned, this year’s roster has a real international feel. Ducati Motocorsa Racing will have Argentinian Leandro Mercado this year competing on a full factory spec Ducati Panigale V4R, but all eyes are likely to be on young Turkish hot shot Toprak Razgatlioglu who has joined the Pata Yamaha WorldSBK Official Team. The 23-year-old set World SBK alight when he joined in 2018, becoming Rookie of the Year, and last year took his first two victories and featured on the podium in every round for the second half of the season.
Adding further to the fun on and off track will be Kawasaki Germany whose partnership with Motul will be seen through a 360o activation program at the new, German round in Oschersleben on 2nd August with special activations on site. Stay fully tuned!
