Professional Motorsport World Expo - Germany

Total success for Motul's stand!
Famous for its imposing cathedral, the city of Cologne in Germany hosted on 15, 16 and 17 November the Professional Motorsport World Expo, an international show exclusively reserved for motorsport professionals. For three full days, team managers, drivers, tuners, competition mechanics and engineers from all over Europe (and some from even further afield!) came along to discover what's new and enter into various commercial agreements with the 2012 season in view.
Among the 230 exhibitors present, Motul held stand 2022 and officially unveiled the latest generation of 300V lubricant. Having been under development for the past four years now, the 300V range has been completely reformulated and now includes two new viscosity grades. Pending its commercial launch at the end of the year or at the beginning of next year depending on markets, the Professional Motorsport World Expo has already allowed motorsport professionals to familiarise themselves with this evolution in the range.
Showcasing advanced technology, the Dragster of English driver John Bradshaw was also exhibited on the stand. Better known under the name of 'Project ZED', this incredible machine was presented for the first time at a show in Germany. After having bagged all in 2011 – title holder in the JDS Championship Pro Class + Record of Europe – the dragster was a hit with all visitors to Motul's stand. Wishing to learn more about this mysterious vehicle, many informed visitors came along to discover the 'little' Nissan VQ35 engine (3.5L twin-turbo V6) developing more than 1850 hp despite its size!
