After the wins at Portimao and Abu Dhabi, the duo Luhr / Krumm (team JR Motorsports) once more showed its superiority by winning last weekend during the seventh round of the World FIA GT1 Championship at the Paul Ricard circuit. The British team duo pulled off a perfect weekend by wining both the qualifying race and the championship race. Note should also be made of the fine performances of teams Jamie Campbell-Walter / David Brabham (Sumo Power GT) and Christian Hohenadel / Andrea Piccini (Hexis AMR) who both finished in the Top 5.
Last, it is important to praise the work by the mechanics of team Hexis AMR who stayed up all night from Saturday to Sunday to repair car No.3 after it suffered a serious accident on leaving the track violently in the qualifying race. Participating in the championship race, crew Clivio Piccione / Stef Dusseldorp scored a point all the same (11th place). Bravo to all the team!
