As the ninth round took place at the Sachsenring circuit last weekend, the MotoGP Championship has now crossed its mid-season. A Grand Prix marked by a very high Motul presence since, in addition to the track-side billboards and teams supported technically by the brand, the Motul Germany team pulled out all the stops to welcome a total of some 600 clients over the three day period.
On the track, the 'fighting spirit' prize goes to Alvaro Bautista. Having qualified tenth, the rider of team Rizla Suzuki MotoGP perfectly tapped the potential of the GSV-R to withstand the attacks of a certain Valentino Rossi and take the chequered flag in 7th position.
For their part, Colin Edwards and Cal Crutchlow, of team Monster Yamaha Tech3, arrived respectively 10th and 14th. A few days before the Laguna Seca GP at which Colin Edwards will be on home turf, the latter is confident and hopes to secure a Top 6 there.
