How many times have you attended the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana?
This year will be my sixth time at the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana, I’ve been there for the last five races.
When was your first time?
The first time was in 2010.
Explain why you are passionate about the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana?
This Gran Premio is so important for me because it was, back in 2010, the first place I went with my boyfriend, who is now my husband.
Why is the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana so special?
It’s something we have always shared and we have always done it together. We got to know each other in class and the first thing we talked about was motorbikes because I had a folder with two bikes in it, so we have always said that the motorbikes united us. Every year we keep at least two days of our holidays so that we can take advantage of the whole Grand Prix. We always go to the circuit on Thursdays just to try and see some riders and get their autographs and see places within the circuit we can’t see the rest of the weekend. On Sundays we wake up really early in the morning just to be the first ones in the grandstands. We always go on our bike and I LOVE all the way to the circuit the roads are so full of motorbikes and a great atmosphere, everyone shouting, some of them with flags…I get so excited. We have always been in the green grandstand; we went there the first year and it’s kind of a tradition. It’s so special because we love motorbikes and watching them live and not through the TV is really exciting and it’s great to be involved in such a great atmosphere.
What is your best memory of Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana?
I will always remember Moto2 in 2012, when Marc Marquez was the last rider on the grid because of a penalty and he won the race. It was spectacular. And later on, in MotoGP, I remember crying when Lorenzo fell but, well, that year he had won the championship, so the celebration had been spectacular.
What is your best spot/corner?
As I’ve always been to the green grandstand, I can assure this one is the best spot, (laughs). I also love Turns 4 and 5, the first right hand turns, which they are really careful going through because they may still have cold tires. But I like every single corner!
Who is your favorite rider?
My favorite rider is and will always be Jorge Lorenzo. I love him as a person – just from what I’ve seen on TV or in magazines, because I have never been able to contact him in person – but I love him more as a rider. It’s impressive to see him racing.
You will experience the 2015 Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana in an ultra-exclusive way. Are you prepared? Are you excited? Please tell us more about your feeling a few days before the event?
This has been a great year for me and what could be better? Is there any better way to end 2015 than with this great gift? When I was told I was the winner I couldn’t believe it. I was working at the office and I had to control myself so that no one thought I was insane. But, when I left, the first thing I did was to call my husband, I think I cried but I don’t really remember well because of the emotion. Then I told my parents, my brothers, my friends, everyone! My brothers tell me all their friends are jealous. I’m counting the days till the Gran Premio. I would normally do that anyway, so you can imagine this year! I just want to enjoy this experience and I’m sure it will be unforgettable. I will always be very grateful to Motul and the Circuit for giving me this chance.
